IKEA is giving free breakfasts Friday March 20-Sunday, March 22, 2009. Limit one small breakfast ($0.99 value) and one cup of coffee ($0.99) per person. Find an IKEA store near you and look up the breakfast hours by clicking "Restaurant" in the left hand column fo your store's page! NOVA/DC/MD folks, you're likely to seek out the IKEAs of Woodbridge, VA, Baltimore, MD, and College Park, MD!
And, to be realistic: the last time my husband and I headed there to take advantage of one of their free breakfast promos, the place was mobbed! Didn't know that $0.99 of free bacon, hashbrowns, and eggs would do that to people. Since our toddler daughter was with us, we decided that this was one instance where our time and energies (at least 20 minutes in line, if not much more) were worth more than the free breakfasts. But, if you don't have other places to be and naptimes to mind, this looks pretty tasty, no?
