I managed a trip to Potomac Mills with this very coupon, and the Gap outlet store was hoppin'. The clearance racks for each sections were kind of minimized and there was a LOT of new merchandise on display, nearly all of which was marked as being 20-40% off the lowest ticketed price. (Then I was mentally subtracting about another third off the discounted price for the coupon burnin' a hole in the bottom basket of our stroller.)

Here's a very rough price guidelines for the price after coupon. I didn't hit the men or boys' sections because my husband doesn't need anything and I don't have boys. If anybody wants to comment with pricing on these, though, go ahead!

• Women's sweaters and cardigans: $15-$25
• Women's light-tissue tees in a wide variety of colors, including many with embellished necklines: $10-$20
• Women's denim: ~$20-$25 (Most priced at $45 with 20-30% off the lowest ticketed price, then subtract the coupon) - there is a LARGE selection
• Women's wrap dresses, around $20-$25 after all discounts
• Long-sleeved v-neck shirts on the clearance rack, $4.99, minus 30% for the coupon, down to $3.50!
  

Girls' section:

• Short and long-sleeved T-shirts starting from around $6 through $12, so more like $4.20 thorugh $8.40
• New not-yet-marked-down girls' skinny jeans are $24.99, so after coupon, $17.50ish. Other girls' jeans and pants will go down as low as $10ish with coupon.
  
• Capri leggings in a wide variety of colors (shown layered under a denim skirt as a wearing option) are $9.99 - so $7 after coupon
• Girls' fall shoes mostly marked $16-$20ish, so $11.20ish is as low as most will get (unless you buy shoes on clearance). This is comparable with Target's shoe prices for young girls.
  

So, you will definitely get cheap-for-Gap prices with it, and if you snag something from the clearance racks you will do that much better. Me? I was trying to resist the urge to purchase the entire girls' back-to-school section. ;)

Super Savings Saturday: CVS and Target

I scored some super savings at CVS and Target this week that are worth sharing!

I haven't been shopping much at CVS since my toddler moved out of diapers. But this week I wanted to try to get some Huggies wipes because I keep a stash of diapers & wipes for baby shower gifts. I read that ECB holders were finding Huggies wipes coupons on the coupon printers in-store. It was true for me! A $2 Huggies wipes coupon AND a $5/$15 coupon printed. Score! I used a $3 Sensodyne toothpaste coupon, the $2 wipes coupon, a $1 off any Johnson & Johnson baby product coupon, & the $5/$15 coupon. Check out the picture above to see what I got for $3.42!

I needed a few things at Target, and I wanted to see if I could work a Kraft cheese deal I read about. It worked! I spent $1.75 on the items in the picture below. Here is what I used:
3 $2/2 Right Guard deodorant coupons
3 $1 off any Johnson & Johnson baby product manu coupons
1 $1/2 Kraft cheese coupon
2 Target $1/1 Kraft cheese coupons (only prints 1 per computer; we have 2 computers)

Birthday Rewards: FirstWatch and Coldstone Creamery

Since my son was sick on my birthday and I got sick soon after, I almost missed out on redeeming some of my birthday rewards coupons! We wouldn't want that?!

We really enjoyed my birthday rewards this year because my husband was out of town all week and the coupons gave us fun "dates" to anticipate. I took my toddler to Fuddruckers, FirstWatch and Coldstone Creamery in addition to Austin Grill. I had a coupon for a free entree at Fuddruckers, and upon inquiring I was told by my local restaurant that I could get anything up to $8.00 off the menu. I chose my favorite salad, bought my toddler a kids meal and smiled.

I had another free entree coupon for FirstWatch, a breakfast & lunch restaurant. I chose a breakfast entree and bought my toddler a kids meal. I should have just shared my entree because it was so much food! Next year.

I had a "Like It" coupon from Coldstone Creamery, and I let my toddler choose the ice cream flavor and mix-in. He loved that. We had a great time enjoying my birthday rewards coupons and feel very blessed to live near so many yummy restaurants!
