New to the Couponingverse? A Perspective Check for Couponing Anxiety

If you are couponing, and just starting to browse blogs and forums for coupon matchups and inspiration, it is easy to be overwhelmed.

But take heart! Couponing and deal-hunting is very worth it. Of course, we'd like to assist you with our blog content, but there are a lot of resources out there. You can always email us at redemptionunlimited@gmail.com if you have questions. In the meantime, consider the following guiding principles:

1. You won't get every deal every time. This is just a fact of life - the sooner you accept it, the sooner you can focus on "What great deals did I get this week?" instead of "What deals did I miss?" Try to prioritize your time and energies toward your most-used products to maximize savings, and consider the rest gravy. :) Trust us, if you acknowledge your human incapacity to conquer every deal out there, you will still be sane come the 2009 Christmas season, when Black Friday deals at CVS are enough to inspire regret because not all deals can be done.

2. Pat yourself on the back for whatever couponing you can manage to do, and enjoy your savings. Whether it's one store trip per week or one daily, you are saving money that would otherwise be spent. Remember not to let the tail wag the dog, and don't let couponing drive you crazy - you are in the driver's seat, and any couponing you elect to pursue is like extra money in your bank.
