Reasons to Check Out CVS in March 2009

When you're looking for monthly deals, it usually helps a great deal to have your monthly ad copy in your hand while browsing the aisles. This helps to prevent you from picking up the wrong size/version of the ExtraCare Buck deal item(s) you are seeking! See the rest of CVS March Coupon Matchups that Erica posted.

CVS March Freebie:

CVS Pharmacy Vitamin D/400, 100 count bottles are $2.99, and you get $2.99 ECBs in return. FAECBs
Limit 1

Now for "Let's Roll an ECB Deal!"

In March, when you buy $15 worth of Dove products, you earn $5 ECBs.
(Note: You are not required to buy the $15 in the same transaction; the CVS account system keeps track automatically and prints your running totals for the weekly deals at the bottom of each receipt!)
Limit 5 completions of this deal

Prices are as follows, but may differ if sales cut them during the weekly deals in March.
  • Dove Beauty Bar 2-pack $4.19

Subtotal: $15.46
Use coupons:
$1.50/2 deodorants

Post-Coupon Total: $12.46.

Say you have 12 ECBs. If you pay 12 ECBs, you only pay $0.46+tax out of pocket (oop), and your receipt will print the 5 ECBs!

If you have no ECBs, you would pay $12.46, and get 5 ECBs in return (a 'net' of $7.46). If you're up for a challenge, see how many times in March you can roll your ECBs to keep snagging under $1 oop CVS deals before running out of ECBs. :)
