I'm having printer/computer technical difficulties lately, so the printable coupon links have not been verified yet; caveat printor. If you find some that don't work, please feel free to leave a comment to let us know, and we'll delete the link(s) from this post.
5 reasons to go to Giant this week:
- FREE Vitaminwater10 (still 10/$10) when you use the $1/1 from the 04/05 SS insert. Yes, it's still free. :)
- $1.79/lb. boneless beef chuck steak or boneless beef chuck roast (76% savings compared with $3.29 reg.!) .
- $1.40 Hormel Natural Choice Lunchmeat (priced at 2/$5). There was a $0.55/1 Hormel Natural in the 02/08 (but it expires 04/19, so jump on it!). This will probably double. Normal price of this is 2/$7 - and there is a non-doubling (starts with a 9) $0.55/1 blinkie coupon dispenser at my Giant, so probably one at yours, too.
- Bertolli Frozen Dinners for Two are $6.99. There should be a $2.50/1 printable coupon available here, which would make it $4.49 (not bad!). Or, use the $1/1 coupon from the 03/15 SS insert to make them $5.99.
- $0.90-$1.10 Country Crock. Shedd's Spread Country Crock is $1.99 this week. Use the $0.45/1 from the 04/05 insert (doubles) to get it for $1.10, or this $0.55/1 Calcium Plus Vitamin D variety printable Country Crock coupon to get it for $0.90.
Other Giant coupon matchups and deals for the week of 04/17-04/23:
- $1.50/lb. strawberries - the 2-lb. containers go for $2.99.
- $1 Stouffer's frozen entrees. Stouffer's are 5/$10 this week, and there were $1/2 coupons for different Stouffer's Entrees in the 03/15 SS insert. 5/$10-(5x$1/2) = $5 for 5.
- $1 Pop-Tarts. Pop-Tarts are 2/$4, and there was a $1/2 coupon in the 02/22 RP and the 03/29 insert.
- $0.40 Dannon Yoghurt. Dannon is 20/$10 ($0.50/ea.), so use the $1/10 from the 03/15 SS to get $0.10/each cup.
- $1 Wishbone Salad Dressings. They are 10/$10 this week.
- $0.25 Knorr sides. Knorr pasta sides or rice sides are 10/$10. Use the $0.75/2 (03/29 RP), which will double, making them $0.25 each.
- $1 avocados. Guac!
- $2 half gallons of Over the Moon Milk. Normally this is priced around $3.50/half gal., but the $1/1 from the 03/01 SS (there are also some 1/1tearpads by the milk at CVS) will make this week's 2/$6 price $2/ea. Or you can wait until Shopper's doubles coupons again to get it for about $1.50/half gal. Read our Over the Moon review here.
- $2.50 Health Choice Meals. Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers are 2/$6. There is a $1/2 printable available if you register (though we haven't registered yet so can't verify right now).
- Muir Glen Organic Soup is $2.49. You can use the $1/1 coupon that Money Saving Mom flagged yesterday to get it for $1.49, but this coupon is better off getting you freebies on organic tomato paste, probably.
- Cascadian Farm Organic Ganola is 2/$6. You can use the $1/1 coupon from the 02/22 SS or the 07/13/08 (you read that right) SS to get the granola for $2/box.
- $0.30/cup Jell-O snacks. Jell-O 6-packs are 2/$6, and use the $0.60/1 printable here (doubles automatically) to get it for $1.80/each.
- $2.50 Polly-O string cheese. Polly-O string cheese is 2/$7, but with this $1 printable Polly-O coupon, it is $2.50/pack.
- $1 potato chips. Utz Potato Chips are 2/$5. There was a $0.75/1 Utz Snacks Back 8 oz. + in the 01/11 SS which might apply, which would make these $1/bag.
- $1.50 V8 V-Fusion. V8 V-Fusion is 2/$7. Get a $2/1 printable here, or a $2/1 in this coming Sunday's inserts. This is supposed to be $2.99 regularly priced at Target and WalMart, however, so you are probably better off making a separate trip to save $0.50/bottle.
- Chock full O'Nuts Coffee 2 lb. + cans are $6.99, but the recent $0.75/1 insert coupon would make this $5.49, or $2.75/lb.
- $1.90 bread. Nature's Pride breads are 2/$6, but the $0.55/1 from the 02/22 RP makes them $1.90/each.
- $1.50 Barilla Pasta Sauce. It's pricd at 2/$4 this week, but the $1/2 coupon from the 03/29 SS makes it $1.50/ea.
- Duncan Hines Brownie Mixes are 4/$5 ($1.25/each). Use the $0.35/1 (02/01 SS insert) to get them for $0.55 each, and as Crystal of Money Saving Mom mentioned, when you buy five, you can mail in for a $5 coupon booklet! 5 x $0.55 is $2.75...so you'd end up at least $2.25 to the good if you eventually used all of those coupons in the booklet.
There's a large special on half of the Giant ad's back page: Get 5 Reusable Shopping Bags Instantly when you buy $15 worth of General Mills, Scott Naturals, or Clorox Green Works products. These bags normally retail $0.99 at Giant.
The items/matchups follow: - Honey Nut Cheerios, Cheerios, Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs, Kix or Honey Kix, Lucky Charms, $2.99. This $1/2 printable Reese's Puffs coupon makes it $2.50. There were two coupons: a $0.50/1 coupon and a $1/2 coupon for Honey Kix in the 03/22 SS. There is also a $1/1 Lucky Charms printable coupon here. Best bet? Using the highest values ($0.50/1 Honey Kix and $1/1 Lucky Charms).
- General Mills Cereal Bars or Fiber One Chewy Bars. These are 2/$6. Chex Mix bars are listed as 2/$5. Not worth it, in our opinion! If you're reading this before Friday, go check out the current Giant deals and granola bar matchups, where you can get granola bars for as low as $0.15/box!
- Progresso Vegetable Classics Soup is 2/$3. Check out this list of potential printable coupons.
- Pillsbury Toaster Strudel, 2/$4. Use the $0.55/2 (01/04 General Mills insert), or better yet, the $0.35/1 (02/08 SS insert). Lowest price: $0.35/1 makes them just $0.30/box!
- Clorox Green Works are 20% off the entire line. This is a $0.50/1 printable coupon, which should double to $1. Or use the $1/2 coupon from the recent Red Plum insert.
- Yoplait Yo-Plus yoghurt is 2/$4. Use this printable $1.50/1 coupon to get it for $0.50, or use the $1/1 coupon from the 03/29 SS insert to make it $1.
- Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks are 2/$4. Use the $1/2 coupon from the 03/08 SS to make them $1.50/box.
- Green Giant Steamers with Sauce are 2/$4. Use the $0.50/1 from the 04/05 SS to make them $1/each.
- Scott Tissue Toilet Paper is 2/$7. There are several active Sunday insert Scott coupons out there, the most being $1/1, making it $2.50 each.
No, it's no mistake; these are listed twice in the Giant ad, once under this shopping bag deal: - Muir Glen Organic Soup is $2.49.
