Attitude of Gratitude Award

Wow! Live Large, Spend Less just gave us our very first blog award - the Attitude of Gratitude Award! Live Large, Spend Less, is piloted by two sisters who have a combined 12 kids (and one on the way, congrats!), and still manage to find the time to blog on unbelievable CVS diaper bargains and other steals. You like us, you really like us! :)

Here's how it works:

1) Put the Lemonade Award logo on your blog or post.

2) Nominate at least 10 blogs that show great attitude or gratitude.

3) Link to your nominees within your post.

4) Let the nominees know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog. (We'll be emailing to keep comments on-topic.)

5) Share the love and link to the person from whom you received your award.

Here are our nominees:
  1. Blessings in Bargains - this blog has great priorities with its emphasis on donating from your wealth of bargains. Blessings in Bargains adds inspiration for stretching stuff (resprouting your spring onions, anyone?) and posting the coupon matchups that snuck by anyone else.

  2. Frugal in Virginia - this blog does it all. You wouldn't be blamed for reading Dana's entries, only to find yourself humming I'm Every Woman. Recipes, rebates, freebies, and an inexhaustable supply of coupon matchups for many Virginia grocery stores.

  3. Moneywise Moms - this is Gina's blog. Homegirl brings home the coupon-deep-discounted bacon, makes it sizzle, and serves it with a side of 'this is real life' laugh-out-loud moments in her posts. She is the queen of Safeway deal-wrangling, and Catalina acquisitions.

  4. Frugally Blonde - Frugally Blonde's Liz has a knack for tutorials on her homemade goodness - take her homemade granola bars, homemade Chex Mix, and homemade bagels for example. Liz does weekly Wegmans coupon matchups, and offers a tip for a painless way to save money every Tuesday.

  5. Never Pay Retail Again - Jodi is the blogger you'd most want to join you on a day at the mall - for the discounts and the fun, both! This gal posts online coupon codes and printable coupons for most any major national retailer - so when you're getting ready for a day of shopping, consult with Jodi first to get the in-store coupons for all of your favorite retail locations.

  6. Penny Possibilities - this Maryland money-saving blogger is a SuperFresh matchup gal who posts on store price protection and coupon policies, newspaper contents (like Shopper's Food Warehouse coupons), rebates, and her long-run grocery strategies.

  7. Coupon Cravings - this megablogger has you covered on freebies, rebates, printable coupons, coupon booklets...in short, anything related to new coupons on the market! The blog also does some coverage family-friendly bargains like kid activities and workshops, as well as vacation bargains.

  8. Bargain Brianna - "Because Bargains Don't Find Themselves" - too true! Brianna has her fingers on the pulse of the coupon world, and even has a Twitter feed! This gal is on top of the bargains, like some sort of Great Carnac the Magnificent of Deals.

  9. Money Saving Mom - Crystal Paine - hailing from a family tradition of couponing - documents her finely-tuned couponing skills every Super Savings Saturday. She also covers WalMart and Target deals and freebies, along with rebates, free magazine subscriptions, and budgeting tips. Her weekly grocery/menu budget of $35-$60 for two adults and two little ones (and she usually is much, much closer to $35, even while buying for pregnancy nutritional needs!) is downright inspirational.

  10. Mommy's Wish List - "Where to get it. How not to pay for it." MWL rounds up printable coupons, free samples, cosmetics gifts-with-purchase, department store coupons (Macy's, for example), and kids' DVD discounts, among many other steals and deals.
We're so glad to be able to follow your blogs and learn from your positive attitudes and couponing wisdom! Thanks for all you to do help others in their quest to save money!
