Just a reminder about this weekend's consignment sale. I've been excited about the upcoming consignment sales, but I went through my toddler's stockpile of clothes this week and found that he only needs a few items! I always enjoy finding bargains at the consignment sales, but I don't enjoy the crowds and feverish pace of it all. So I may be sitting this spring out, much to my surprise!

Fairfax County Mothers of Multiples is hosting its spring Clothing Sale this Saturday, February 27, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Location: Chantilly High School (in the cafeteria; please use entrance 4), 4201 Stringfellow Road, Chantilly, VA (just ½ block south of Route 50 - and up the road from Fair Lakes Center).
The sale will be held from 9am to 1pm. Over 150 families consigning clothing, equipment, toys and much more! Snow date is March 6th.

We're hoping the crowds are better this year since we switched to a computerized bar code system for tagging. Now, the cashiers will have scanning guns like at Target, so we can move the lines a lot faster.

We went last year and were quite surprised to discover a huge crowd of people waiting outside for the sale to open. If you are looking for big-ticket items (strollers, exersaucers, high chairs, etc) get there EARLY. We got some good deals on clothes and books but you definitely have to be willing to fight the crowds.
