Menu Plan Monday

The most dangerous breakfast food in the world: Reese's Puffs cereal. Don't even go there. I (A.) bought some as sort of a gag Christmas gift for the my husband, and ohhhh, Mama, are they tasty. And not just in a "That was a tasty breakfast..." way - also in a "You know what would make a tasty snack?" way. Yeah.

Which is to say: still trying to do a little nutritional damage control, while eating from the pantry. Primary among my pantry staples to use are brown rice, Bisquick, instant oatmeal, and craisins, each of which make an appearance at least twice this week, in differing forms.

Monday:
Breakfast: Cubed mango, banana, milk
Lunch: Salad w/shredded cheese, walnuts, craisins, cubed avocado, and shiitake sesame dressing
Dinner: Baked potatoes w/toppings

Tuesday:
Breakfast: Instant oatmeal with raisins, milk
Lunch: Cashew butter sandwich, sliced apples, açaí juice
Dinner: Wasabi shrimp and asparagus with brown rice

Wednesday:
Breakfast: Cereal with milk, banana
Lunch: Leftover wasabi shrimp/asparagus, yoghurt with honey
Dinner: Brought (yay!!!) by a friend

Thursday:
Breakfast: Brown rice porridge with craisins using leftover brown rice from Tuesday
Lunch: Vegetable soup, 10-minute maple flatbread using Bisquick and instant oatmeal
Dinner: Crock pot chicken drumsticks, brocolli

Friday:
Breakfast: If baby cooperates, Bisquick pancakes (if not, cereal again)
Lunch: Sandwiches - toasted bread, sliced avocado, and Baconnaise, with sliced apples
Dinner: Chicken pot pie (frozen since late November's Baking Day)
